Please note that the Vijay muhurat in the year 2024 will be for a period of 47 minutes i.e. from 14:11 to 14:58. On the other hand, Aparahna Puja muhurat will last for more amount of time i.e. from 13:24 till 15:45. It would be exactly for the period of 2 hours and 21 minutes.

Natives of Gujarat state also celebrated this festival with great zeal. They perform their folk dance ‘Garba and Dandiya’. All the people show their happiness by performing Garba dance with their family and friends. Generally, these Garba dance is performed on the Krishna Bhagwan’s songs and the Goddess Durga’s songs. Dandiya dance form is performed by the dandiya sticks.
In south states such as Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh also celebrate with some different rituals. People exchange presents like sweets, clothes, they sing regional songs and perform the dance. People decorate their house with lamps and dolls. They start it on the first day of Navratri and on the ninth day they worship Maa Saraswati. On the tenth day they start the new beginnings for children in studies like music, education and dance.
