The shrimad Bhagwat katha consists of all the knowledge about the life of lord Krishna. There are 18000 mantras in the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, which are related to the Bhagwat Mahapuran.
The Bhagwat kaths is performed with full faith and devotion towards Lord Krishna. On the last day of the Katha, a yagya is performed that marks the ending of this auspicious Vedic scripture. This yagya is also helpful in gaining grah shanti. The Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Saptah lasts for seven days and blesses the devotees with the blessings of Lord Krishna.
