The idol of Lakshmi is placed in the pooja room and the four wicks Deepak is lit and other cowrie shell is placed above it. The abhishekam of Lakshmi Maa is done using Roli and Chawal. Flowers and garlands are offered to idol of Lakshmi and the Aarti is performed to praise Goddesss Lakshmi. The sweets are kept in the Prasad for the bhog of Goddess Lakshmi and after the prayers it is distributed among all the devotees.
