Ganesh Chaturthi Pooja
The Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated all over the India and is the Hindu festival. People celebrate this day in a grand manner so that they can seek blessings from the Lord Ganesha. The day of Ganesh Chaturthi is considered to be the birthday of Lord Ganesha and it falls on the 4th day of the bright fortnight of the month Bhadrapada. All the Hindus celebrate this day with great enthusiasm as this day is very popular among the Hindus. The Ganesha Puja is considered to be the most sacred pooja and all the problems of life are being removed on this day. According, to Hindu mythology it is also believed that Ganesha Puja performed at least once in a month brings the prosperity, wealth, peace and health in the life of the individual. Ganesh Atharvashirsha (Abhishekam)
The Lord Ganpati Abhishekam is being written by the Atharva Rishi who had the Lord Ganpati Darshan. On this day people generally invoke the name of Lord Ganesha before starting anything. The start of the day is done by the name of Lord Ganesha. The Abhishekam of the Lord Ganesha is considered to be originated with division called Ganapatya which worshipped the Lord Ganesha with Supreme Loyalty and Reality. There is also the most difficult way to worship Lord Ganesha which involves the chanting of the 108 names of the Lord Ganesha or the “Shri Ganesha Ashtottara Sata Namavali”. It is believed that if the 108 names of the Lord Ganesha is recited while offering the red flowers than all the eight types of difficulties are overcome. The puja of the Lord Ganesha is generally done by the Raw Milk and the Ganesha Atharvashirsha Path is being repeated 21 times.
